Brotherly Love...

I was working with high schoolers yesterday and today I am working with families who have fallen loved ones from the army. The picture you are currently looking at are two boys whose father passed away during his service. These boys have never shot a bow and arrow before and I got to help teach them. They were talking to one of my co-workers talking about how their Dad was going to teach them but he never got to.

After I taught the older brother the basics of archery he started helping his brother and it made me so happy to him step in and be the teacher for his brother. Yeah I don't agree with the politics surrounding the war, but these families have gone through something that is hard to deal with and if I can help be a shoulder for them in nature and a brief blip in life....then so be it....
