Ten years ago today, the world changed forever after an act of pure evil. I'm sure everyone can remember where they were and what they were doing. Like many people I was in work and had just come back from being out, when someone said a plane had crashed into the world trade centre. At first it was thought it was a one seater but then news came through it was something more.

In them days we had a tv in our meeting room, we switched it on and watched the tragedy unfold. We were stunned and there was a feeling of numbness the rest of the day, no one could believe what happened.

At this time of tragedy people found solace in family and friends. This song seems apt to me: You'll Never Walk Alone by Rogers and Hammerstein
