West Coast Scene
This is Dups and my last day in the Golden Bay area, as we leave to go home early tomorrow morning.
We went and had a look at the old remains of the Puponga Coal mine, there is no coal mined in this area now, mainly farming.
We also revisited the West Coast past West Haven Inlet to photograph some rocks we found which I thought were spectacular. We had to wait for the tide to go out, and the rain to stop. It was so windy it was very hard standing up at times, and keeping the camera and tripod from moving.
I thought that these rocks look like big caramel puddings!!
I love the contrast with them and the grey round stones.
You can see by the sky it was very stormy, and we have had a lot of rain fall.
