The signs

Oulu has always been a really good city for the cyclists and it has received the award for the most cyclist friendly city of Finland several times. The sighs are good and the bike lanes are kept in good order throughout the year, even when it is snowing hard.

Now the city council and tech board have been making plans to restrict cycling at some popular areas at the downtown and also removing some bike parks to further away. This is waaayyy stupid plan imho and does not reserve to be implemented. Especially as at the same time they're planning a parking facilities under central streets to thousands of cars so that the people with card can got as close as they want. WTF? There has always been plenty of parking places when you want to go there by car, atleast if you only search few mins and can walk few hundreds of meters..

Really pissed about this issue.
