Satisfaction

56 quarts of peaches and 16 pints of peach jam! I'm satisfied with the end result! These peaches were truly a God-send--they were ripe, yummy, easy to peal and pretty! (Central Oregon does not grow fruit--everything has to be brought in which can be very tricky at times--hence my great appreciation for these peaches!!!)

I skyped yesterday with my newly married daughter. She showed me her apartment, declared her happiness, and left me a much relieved momma who can now move on into my new life! In 36 years I've always been getting kids in school, worrying about schedules, etc. Now, I'm free! I'm integrating these new experiences into my definition of "normal!"
