Snowy Egret
Down at the Colorado Lagoon to help with a tide measurement I noticed this snowy egret stalking dinner along the shore. I learned they shuffle their feet along the shallows looking for food - fish crustaceans, insects, or reptiles. This egret did capture a small fish shortly after I took this photo, but the composition of that shot was not near as strong, so this one became today's Blip.
