RSD Photo's SoCal Life

Seattle Library

I normally try to mix up my Blipfoto entries, never having two similar photos in a row, but today's shot of the inside of Seattle Public Library was too good not to post. The architecture of this building is amazing at every turn. Designed by renowned architect Rem Koolhaas, it opened in 2004 to mixed reviews. There is no denying the space is photogenic, especially on the tenth floor where the light and these walls intersect to create interesting patterns. I would love to have the freedom to shoot before the space is open to the public like I had in Yakima, but I will have to settle for the shots taken during our mid-morning tour.
