Benji My Little Roadrunner

Was out looking for an early blip and there sits Benji, waiting for me to take his picture. I choose this one so you can see the colors that sometime show in their eyes. There is no way to tell a female from a male unless they are breeding. Their feet are very unusual. Two toes in front and two toes in back. When leaving a track, it marks an X. Sometimes when I go to shops that have crafted roadrunners in metal or clay, I always look for the feet. Lots of time the artists will give them chicken feet. I always tell them that those are not roadrunner feet. The red in his eyes is sometimes hidden. He is such a sweetheart.
