Lesson One. If you want to have your photo taken on the back of the horse you are riding then do it before the light fails. Flash & horses do not mix. I didn't take a photo with flash, but I'm a bit annoyed with myself that I don't have a picture of me on horseback to go with my other 40 before 40 tasks.

The lesson finished an hour ago & my legs are still aching, getting off the horse was a challenge & I had to wait a good 5 minutes before attempting to drive the car, this is how I was expecting to feel after skiing! I'm now slightly better at a rising trot than I was two hours ago, but I won't be winning any medals any time soon. I also wish I'd worn a decent sports bra!

As I drove off I saw the roadsign & realised that this was a subject that would benefit from flash
