I had a hard time choosing between these apples and what the French call the "apples of the earth"...

Decided these seemed to be a bit more colorful..but only just.


Thanks so awfully much for all the sweet comments on yesterday's blip...I really didn't expect that. I should have known, though, since you are all so lovely.

It's amazing how vulnerable it makes you feel to post a close-up of yourself. Rather used to being on the back end of the camera now...
