Sickened Land Blooms Again

Spent a few days in my hometown in east central Illinois. Was so saddened to see the dry corn and soybeans that never ripened correctly in the drought this summer.


Then I saw these morning glories taking over the corn stalks.


Lovely to see such a glimmer of hope...
