Stoney Beach

Headed out to the beach bright and early and just as well as a cool wind got up. Went for a little wander and can't believe how this sandy beach has become quite stoney of late, will be a bit hard on the feet over summer.

Came home and meandered round the garden with a cuppa in hand. Camellias still flowering, rhodendrons just about to bloom, little woodland anemones starting to pop through the ground, hellebores and star flowers still in full bloom and my one and only hydrangea coming into leaf along with my roses.

A few jobs done and dusted while the weather became quite patchy, cloudy and cold, then bright sun and cold continuing throughout the day.

The weekend is with us and the mighty All Blacks play tonight against Japan, a few injuries in the team but we are confident of a win.
