Friday - Market day

Although I like to convince myself I am environmentally aware (recycling waste, travelling with public transport, those kind of things) I consume without thinking.

Friday is the day I do grocery shopping on the market. When I was unpacking the bags today I realised that I consume everything while hardly appreciating the beauty of the vegetables and fruits, or thinking about the resources and time that is needed to make the wine and paper I bought.

If this blog is going to be a photo diary I will post pictures of the daily things in life. So today a picture of my groceries for the week (the wine was on sale, not that I am going to drink all those bottles this week).

I started this because I really appreciate of an old friend. And I want to pick up photography again since I have a new secondhand Pentax K10 after my previous one was stolen.
