Shabby Doll

Went to a funeral today. It was a very sad affair, and there was a huge amount of sadness and an enormous sense of loss, for two young children who have lost their mum. Everyone there was thinking about their children, and how unbearable it is to imagine anything like that ever happening to them.

I found this image later in the day, and I wondered where this poor, shabby doll had come from. It looks home made, and if you look, you can see a footprint on its dress.
