Landing in Naples

What a day! I gave up our holiday planning to Steve! What a big mistake. We left at Steve's recommended time & then found ourself stuck in traffic inching 1 mile in 30 mins! I was climbing the roof of the car!

We made it by the skin of our teeth!

The rest of the trip hasn't been without incident key lowlights being:
- leaving the iPad in one of the security trays
- packing 200 ml bottles of sun cream in the hand luggage (good thing though as prompted a search meaning we were still there when someone asked whose iPad it was!)
- ordering car hire to be picked up in the wrong place
- hairy almalfi coastline car ride & finally
- 10 min trek uphill to our actual hotel.

Views and the hotel are stunning so totally worth the walk!

Exhausting day but we laughed throughout! Here is to a much much needed holiday!
