BABY BATH

Spotted this young Moorhen having a vigorous bath on the way back from the village. We should have been on the RSPB boat out of Bridlington today but it was cancelled because of the wind. I think I am rather glad as we have had violent downpours here during the day, and I have been perfectly happy twiddling about with other things.

Now to rustle up some dinner with the courgettes which a neighbour has kindly given us, tomatoes, basil, garlic and chicken. A made-up-as-I-go-along recipe as we were not supposed to be here!
