As forecast, woke up to a dreich day. D now has a new word to take back to Illinois. We did our intial feedback down at Atlantic Quay - last time I was there it was the Scottish Enterprise HQ, now it's the Scottish Government offices. Small difference really. We were a depleted bunch which was unfortunate given what we wanted to say and I'm not sure about the 'undressed sandwiches'.

Still didn't see Halle Berry, although one of the group either saw her or a body double. According to the media she is wandering round 'the dear green place' with a hot water bottle. Can't say I blame her.

Managed to catch a break in the rain to head off to Central on foot and then a taxi to Y and G's. Had a quick visit down the road to see E's new house and Isabella Rose, who has chickenpox, poor wee soul, and is feeling quite sorry for herself.

The evening was spent, as ever, at #38, catching up, sharing news, eating and drinking - although I do think that Cognac after the white wine was a bit of a mistake. Didn't have the password for the wifi and anyway was far too tired to even think of blipping. There is always tomorrow, well today.
