Lighting the way

This is what happens when I try to do a slow shutter speed without a tripod. Just in case there is any idea that you may recognise the totally unrecognisable, this is taken from Nelson wharf looking towards Tahunanui Beach.

Fitted a lot into today. Went to the movies this afternoon to see The Help. Well worth viewing. Then a quick trip to the mall, with a stop around the port for a few photos. From the mall we headed out to Bests Island in the hope of some decent bird photos - lots of birds and lots of photos but no decent ones.

Then it was back into Nelson for dinner and a stop around the port again on the way home because I wanted some night time lights on the water. I thought there were flat surfaces on the railings so the lack of a tripod wouldn't matter. I was wrong. But this is still the most interesting photo I took all day.
