Stormy Weather

After two weeks here, we've finally had our first "bad" weather day. Thunder and lightning came rolling in in the wee hours of the morning. Quite different from the storms we have back home: here the thunder rolls off against the hill sides and almost echoes for a while. Lightning over the sea is always spectacular (wish I'd had the wherewithal to actually grab my camera!)

We had some occasional soft rain throughout the day, but nothing to dampen our spirits! Tomorrow will be bright again, as the winds are pushing the clouds away. First night too that I took out a light jacket.
