Surfing on the Med

We're on the move to Avignon, via marseille today.
Drove along the coast line and stopped in a few places to continue our "investigation". Found yet another beautiful place, Sanary sur Mer - gorgeous! and they surf there too. Unusual :)

The mistral, of which I'd heard people speak with almost fear, was full on today. I know understand when old tales tell of people going mad in its wake. The gusts are amazingly strong and unrelenting and temps take an immediate dip. Everything shakes and rattles. I hope it's the short version of that wind which will last only 3 days!
