When you're in love with a beautiful flashgun ...

This is a bowl of fruit photographed with my new SB900 Speedlight which I have to say is quite an awesome piece of equipment and incredibly powerful, producing lovely rich light. Feel like I need to go on a training course though, there's a lot to it and I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to flash.

Such a full on day at work - unremitting. Then parents evening. The tactic for getting 15-16 year olds to work in the two years leading up to their GCSEs seems to be to scare the pants off their parents. I feel suitably humbled.
