Just keep pretending it is still summer

No chance to get out at lunchtime and it was nearly dark when I got home.
I spotted this fuschia in the hanging basket and decided to pretend that it was still midsummer. Not quite in focus as I was standing on tip toes and trying to avoid using the flash....but best I could do this evening.

Failed to find the huge spider that scuttled across the living room tonight...perhaps he'll be another day's blip (if he does not wrap us up in silk overnight).
