So, what's the big news for today?

J got his first mobile phone, so he can let his Mum know if he's going to be late home from football training or Mandarin lessons. (Parental Translation: so his Mum can phone him when he forgets to tell us he'll be late home from football training or Mandarin lessons).

G has gone out for the evening without me for the first time since arriving in Singapore; Robertson Quay watch out!

Blip is the City Hall Grandstand, temporarily constructed for the Singapore Grand Prix. For those that don't follow motor sport, it's a street circuit driven at night. I'd no plans to be here over the weekend, but decided to take a walk round as much of the circuit as I could today, now that they've shut the roads (but aren't yet charging you entry). I may have been bitten by the bug, could almost smell the rubber and exhaust fumes.... there's still walkabout tickets for the qualifying session. Mmmmmm....
