I only went away for a week but at the shops today I wondered what season I had returned to.

The wind was blowing the leaves from the trees - autumn?
It was cold and pouring with rain - winter?
I saw pumpkins in the greengrocer's - Hallowe'en?
There were mince pies in the shop - Christmas?
There were Hot Cross Buns in the same shop - Easter?

Help! I'm very confused.
