Heroes of Pittodrie! (East Fife)

Yes that was the headline in tonight's Aberdeen Evening Express but it was East Fife, the "lowly" part-time visitors, who were the heroes, dumping Aberdeen out of the Scottish League Cup last night. A horror story if you are a Dons fan, a night to remember if you are an East Fife fan.

With Falkirk and Ayr Utd. beating Premier League Rangers and Hearts tonight, it looks like good old fashioned fitba' is having a good time against the (relatively) big money this week.

The competition is called the "Scottish Communities League Cup" this year ... and for the communities of Ayr, Falkirk and Methil it's been a good one so far.
