Flowering

Finally, a long lie. I slept in until 7.30 am! Woo! I've been awake most days at 5.30 am since the clocks changed. Admittedly this is the time that the Gardener gets up during BST, but I wish I didn't wake at this time at the weekends too.

A friend's mother passed away a couple of years ago. She had been a collector of cacti and had a huge collection. So friend ended up with lots, and we got a couple. I noticed this one (Weingartia riograndensis) had two buds on it at the weekend. And today the sun coaxed them to open.
