Today is FRIDAY!!!!

So - today is Friday and I get to travel to work via motorbike as I do not need the car to pick up my son after work (this duty is kindly done by my wonderful husband). My bike is not working, but that's okay as my hubby has also kindly said I could use his bike. LOVELY.

As I go to the garage to get out the bike I see this beautiful sunrise and I feel that a beautiful start such as this can only lead to a beautiful day.

How wrong can I be?

I work at an airport, and even though my office in 'landside' the rest of the working environment in 'airside', including the canteen! Silly me; I felt that I could get away with not taking lunch to work as I could go to the canteen and get something (you know, reduce the load on the bike) - but I leave my airside pass on the passenger seat of my car and only realise when I have pulled into the carpark at work.

Then, shortly after I get into the office I receive a call, and thinking that I would write the details in my daybook, which is in my desk drawer. IT IS LOCKED! The key on the lanyard with my airside pass.

Two things gone wrong - I await for the third. But it was a beautiful sunrise and the ride in, though cold, was great too.
