Smarter than the average bear?

Here's one of a series of questions posed on Liverpool buildings - another can be found here. It seems to be missing a crucial "you're" but you get the gist!

I find that intelligence, like most things, is relative. Plus, I can't help but observe that some of the people with the 'biggest' brains or highest IQs can be remarkably lacking in common sense, street smarts or good old-fashioned 'nous'. Or, is that just my experience?

I'm off tomorrow to see friends in Lancaster for the weekend and then my dad'll be here for a few days so although I'm aiming to keep posting my blips please forgive me if I'm a bit AWOL on the comments front!
