The Aurora

The last two days I have been talking about the Forth & Clyde Canal 10th Anniversary event, marking 10 years since the re-opening. The big event is tomorrow when they set off from Glasgow headed for Falkirk.

Around 80 boats are expected in the flotilla. I dropped by today to see how it was going and they have now assembled about 3 times as many boats as were there yesterday. Getting quite crowded at the Wharf.

This is the Aurora making its way along to the starting point. It will be one of the smaller crafts taking part.

It was very overcast today so let hope they get a better day for it tomorrow.
