Garden Cross Spider

Judging by the number of blips featuring this little critter it seems to have been a good year for them.

In the wildlife garden we have at least four or five them, in fact, I nearly got one in the face trying to take a picture of this one.

It was a bit breezy so I couldn't get a pin sharp one, but I like the colours in this.

That back marking is incredible .. the sort of death metal spider of the arachnid world!
