Amazingly good!

Those lovely weather-folk say it's going to be a pleasant weekend. Which part of the UK map were they looking at when they declared this, I wonder? Hopefully we'll all get a splash of sunshine and some blue sky.

I had a very pleasant start to the day as I attended an organic cookery demonstration first thing this morning and this is one of the dishes that was on the menu.

Spicy Lentil Soup.
And what makes it spicy?
Well, that'll be the fresh cumin and ginger. Add to that the fresh garlic, onion and red & green peppers and the result was an incredibly tasty soup. There will be a big pot of it on the go for tomorrow's lunch should anyone be up for bobbing round for some....
Could well be served with garlic bread.
(Am thinking of Peter Kay now, aren't you?!)

The exercises for my poorly knee are proving to be a bit boring.
