Bassenthwaite Lake

Bassenthwaite Lake is the only true lake in the Lake District! ( the others are meres or waters...)

It was like summer this afternoon as we walked up Ullock Pike ( Skiddaw ).

Bassenthwaite Lake has a thriving sailing club. There were quite a few boats out today.
