A poster on speed

Today was a totally inspiring day of teaching! It is so worthwhile, all these hours of preparation and worry...
This is one of the posters produced by my pupils in class 8. Over the last few weeks we have been working on how to measure, calculate and represent speed, velocity, forces, drag (and reducing it).
I asked them to work in teams of 3 and make a poster on the subject, as homework they did research on what the wanted on the poster and how the wanted to represent their findings. Today the put it all together and made 3 brilliant posters (yes, class 8 has less than 10 students). This poster was selected by their class tutor to go and be put on the wall in their class room. The other two will be on display in the science room.
