Blues in the sun

I'm pleased these old shutters have been put up to hide the horrible new windows installed in this renovated house recently. I'm afraid the old wood will soon be painted a uniform colour, but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy the variations.

A slow start this morning after a very enjoyable late night. A couple of years ago - here - I blipped the 'last night' of an era. This was another 'last night' and I hope there will be more! A wonderful meal - mezes followed by chicken tagine - good live music, mostly guitar and singer-songwriters not all of whose words LoJ and I could follow unfortunately, good wine and good company with 5 friends at our table and about 50 or so others.
