Tricky chaps - caps
Another day 'off' work and another half marathon to photograph.
Pleased to get this good shot of lady runner wearing a cap - usually caps make for a poor photo with face hidden.
Much nicer conditions today but didnt necessarily make taking photos easier;
Started off V sunny so Aperture Priority and f5 was fine - speeds up in the 1/800-1/1200 region.
Next location nearly an hour later the sun had gone and even f4 was giving up just 1/250.
Changed to Shutter Priority and 1/500 (as they were coming at me slightly downhill so faster than normal. This gave me f4 (its my widest aperture ) and ISO 400-800, perfectly acceptable.
I also threw in a third of a stop of over exposure just to try and keep faces bright
