Newly Minted

We have many a chrysalis still waiting to hatch on our kitchen window sill. Just as I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen, maybe they are past their prime, this one burst open right before my eyes. I love being witness to these beautiful miracles. Just gives me a bit of hope that no matter how screwed up things seem to get at times, it will all work itself out.
