L had put herself out of action for the day. She may call it being ill but some would call it a bad hangover. I think the difference is that being ill deserves sympathy. It was her birthday night out so I don't really mind. It did mean that the ironing pile became my responsibility so I got that out of the way in the morning. Whilst ironing I watched Thunderbirds. I put it on thinking the kids would want to watch but, as you can see, they were happily playing DS games. After lunch Alana had a birthday Laser Quest to go to with cousin S. Whilst she was there I took Louis to Toys R Us to get some idea of what he might want for his birthday. It wasn't massively successful but he's easy to please anyway so I'm not too worried. What I have realised is that he wants some sort of birthday party where he can go on something and would like his cousins there. Thinking cap time!
