Wood

This is the grain of a wooden artwork that will hopefully soon be visible for many.

Had to have a meeting in my house and was rather surprised when the artist in question arrived with part of the artwork under his arm. Wood of that thickness is really heavy! But it was lovely to feel the grain and get a better look at what we are talking about.

Ended in a big discussion about the Union Canal and I learnt a lot. I had taken it for granted that it was there only to hear that it was re-instated not sooo long ago.

It's nice to get different glimpses of Edinburgh life.
