Children at the Pisac Market (Peru 4/16)
We hiked partly up Pisac today, a very large Inkan ruin, only to find that perhaps we were not quite ready for such a hike. The Pisac marketplace is full of colorful wares, clothes and dyes. These children were dressed in traditional clothing and I couldn't help but take a couple shots. Like many parts of Peru where tourists frequent, this is generally considered a transaction and it's polite to leave a couple Nuevo Soles. While I was a bit uncomfortable with this kind of arrangement at first, it can in fact be more natural at times than trying to surreptitiously snap shots of strangers.
