Hawthorne Tree
Flick and I went to Dunstable Downs in the rain today. The nicely modern warm and welcoming visitor's centre belied that fact that they serve the nastiest fries on the planet, and probably the nastiest tea too. Luckily the view over the downs is probably one of the best views on the planet - well, Bedfordshire anyway, and that was part compensation.
It was basically wet and windy with ever-changing light conditions. The whole thing was envigourating, but now we're home, it has taken ages to get up the energy to unload the couple of hundred photos and choose. I was lucky, as this one jumped out head and shoulders above the rest and so no work was required.
