Yesterday, I got up really early to do a presentationa at a meeting. I arrived at work just after eight o'clock, but by 2 in the afternoon I was knackered, and by 6 I had a splitting headache. I've found that in general, if I get to work around 8 o'clock, I feel really tired all day, whereas if I get in at 9:30, I can generally last easily all day, and even by 9 in the evening I'm still alert.
This proves to me that the most refreshing sleep you can get is during the hour after the alarm goes off. I knew I was generally doing something right.
Went to the pond to see if we had any cygnets - it would have been nice to have them here for today - but no. Instead I shot a strange looking daffodill by the water's edge.
So, no cygnets and no flipping balloon either. Never mind, it's Friday.
