On the road again

In earlier days, a seaman at home was at home and visited the office of his company only once or twice a year. Today this has changed dramatically. All responsible (managing) officers are expected to participate in Safety meetings, workshops, courses, job meetings and so on. All in all, this means quite some office visiting. Especially when you live on Terschelling and your office is based in the southern part of Holland, it is also rather a time and kilometer consuming activity.
