Starling

Yip another Starling! There were Goldfinches on the seed feeder along with the sparrows but everytime I crept closer they would all fly off and wait in the top-most branches until I left again. The Starlings were much better and would allow me to within a few feet!

Plenty of Pink-footed Geese flying over the house now most of them heading in a south-westerly direction. Love the sound of migrating geese! I'm pretty sure I saw a couple of Redwings this morning too but they were flying quite high up even though their flight was quite diagnostic. Put me in mind of a woodpeckers flight - deep bounds up and down and a few flaps. Oh well will just have to leave them as UFOs ;)
