....Turn, turn, turn....

A beautiful sunny day today....and warm too! But Autumn has arrived and winter isn't far behind...the leaves are turning and we're forcast snow before the end of October!

The maples in the garden are just beginning to turn........soon the colours that I blipped last Autumn will re-appear....can't believe the year has gone that quickly. Third poor year in a row for us....family illnesses and accidents....teenage troubles......broken cars and appliances....the one bright spot has been the arrival of Charlotte....and of course my growing group of blip friends.

Next year has to be better doesn't it?

Today has been a typical work day....nothing exciting happened, three lessons, two periods of marking, a detention for a naughty boy, home, dinner and the football. United only managed to get a draw against Basel, never seen them play so badly.....still the noisy neighbours lost and their mercenaries are falling apart....one of them even refusing to go onto the pitch as a substitute!

Wonder if tomorrow will bring anything more exciting?
