So this was my lunch, salmon and egg salad Yum Yum it was lush. I am aching so much after my run tests. I ran 5 miles after hardly running all summer...
I did it mainly to boost my confidence for Sunday to remind myself I can run. However today I am aching so much! I expected to because of my lack of running but still! Hopefully it will be better by the weekend.
The run on Sunday is not a full on straight run as there will be breathers while we queue for thr obstacles, so even though it hurts now, I do feel more confident having done it. But i also wish i had done more running in preparation. This time last yr I was running 10 miles every weekend in prep for the half marathon as i knew I had to get out there and run or I would not be able to complete it. I know I have under estimated this one! I keep teling myself i have been in the gym 4 and often 5 times a week for over 3 years and there will be some people doing it who haven't, so it could be worse...
