Autumn Rose

This rambling rose, in its gorgeous shade of cherry pink, always blooms in June. Always!

And yet here it is, almost October and it looks just as beautiful and fresh as it did three months ago! It is like it has decided it wants to have a second life...and why not!? If anything, it is more beautiful now for the more golden tones of the Autumn sun striking its petals.

Sometimes little unexpected but wonderful things like this, coming so unexpectedly, or not at the time you would expect them, are a wonderful gift to be treasured.

Sorry... I have gone all soppy again!! ;-)

Today was the last day of work for a fortnight - I have been SO busy trying to get everything done before I go on leave so I AM behond on commenting and looking at people's blips again I am so sorry! I WILL catch up over the next day or two :)
