Just up the road...

First day of leave from work and although it was so tempting to go out somewhere nice to enjoy the weather, we really had to make a start on all the outside chores we have to catch up with, before the winter comes.

So, I did a lot of mowing and a bit of painting (yes we are STILL painting the outside of the house - hasn't really been the right weather until now!), and Paul did a lot of painting and cut down some huge branches that were trying to behead me as I mowed!

Still lots to mow, lots to paint and a winter's worth of logs to cut and that's before I even get started inside the house! So looks like we'll be kept pretty busy then!

Anyway, there weren't really many blipping opportunities so I just nipped a few minutes up the road, pulled into a lay-by, took this, then came home! :)

Thanks again for your comments etc. I really DO appreciate it very much. I have started to catch up with looking and commenting on your blips and will continue to do so until I am all up to date :)
