Today's the day ............................ when it felt like summer

This was the hottest day that I can remember in Kendal this year - it's hard to believe that we are nearly into October. I have definitely seen more butterflies in the garden today than I have seen all year. The seasons are all topsy turvy.

Hope it doesn't mean we're going to have a very wintery winter ............?!
