Eating at the "Sea Hag"

Today started a most fun holiday--celebrating Charlotte's 70th birthday at the Oregon coast!!! The four of us, (one was taking the picture) had a most delightful drive from Bend to Lincoln City. The mountains were wonderful, the valley was harvested, and the coast was raining! We went to eat in Depoe Bay at the Sea Hag. The food was out of this world! Charlotte and I shared a meal of a halibut/salmon braid with oysters, shrimp and crab topping. It was sooooo good! Charlotte got a birthday dessert that was 9 inches tall--shortcake, strawberries, ice cream and cream! We all made short work of it! You can just see the remains on the table!

We returned to our hotel, watched a movie, then I taught them how to play Racko--the coast-game-of-choice for Katie, Christine and I! It was fun!
