Over the water

My personal London landmark, to coin a phrase from my favourite London broadcaster Robert Elms, is Tower Bridge, which I cross frequently. It looks especially stunning in these bizarrely warm late September days against a cloudless blue sky. Today we may have reached a record high temperature in the upper 20s (mid-80s fahrenheit in old imperial money) for this date in the capital.
